President Biden announced last week he is nominating two new members to sit on the International Trade Commission.
Nominee Jim Coughlan is currently Senior Vice President and General Counsel at the US Export-Import Bank. He was previously an attorney in private practice where he focused on litigation before the ITC, most recently as Partner at Holland & Knight LLP. He was formerly a Senior Staff Attorney at the ITC, served as Legal Counsel for Senator Carl Levin (D-Mich) and was a judicial law clerk for Judge Marion T. Bennett of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
The President also announced his nomination of Halie Craig, to be a Republican member on the ITC. Ms. Craig currently serves as the Policy Director, Tech for the Senate Commerce Committee Republican staff, where she oversees all aspects of technology policy for ranking member Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
