Former Rep. Mike Gallagher is joining TitletownTech, a venture capital firm started by the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft, as a senior strategic adviser following his early resignation from Congress.

"I am excited to join TitletownTech and contribute to its mission of transforming Wisconsin into a hub of technological innovation," said Mr. Gallagher. "Wisconsin is on the front lines of geopolitical competition in the 21st Century, and has a critical role to play in enhancing America’s economic competitiveness in general and technological leadership in particular. I look forward to working with the TitletownTech team to drive Wisconsin’s growth by making it the best destination for top-level tech-talent and thereby advance America’s national security interests."

The Packers and Microsoft each contributed $5 million to TitletownTech's first venture fund, which raised $25 million. The two partners also contributed an undisclosed amount to the firm's second venture fund, which raised $70 million.

The firm focuses its investments and work in six key areas:
• Sports, media and entertainment
• Digital health
• Agriculture, water and the environment
• Manufacturing and construction
• Supply chain and logistics
• Cross-industry technologies
